We could have stopped at 925. We didn't.
Sterling silver — 92.5% pure — is the industry standard for fine silver objects. It's harder, easier to cast, easier to sell. Three quarters of what you see called “pure silver” in India is, in fact, 925.
Nazarana Luxe is the other 7.4%. Pure silver 999 — softer to work, slower to make, costlier to insure — but the only form of silver that lasts a hundred years without re-plating, re-finishing, or being secretly hollow inside.

How it's made
Four stages. Roughly six weeks. One pair of hands per piece.
Every Luxe piece is made in our Delhi studio, by the same five-person team that started in 2019.
01Sourcing
Fine silver grain, 99.9%
Sourced from refiners with COA per batch. Spectrometer-verified at intake before the foundry sees it.
02Casting
Lost-wax casting · low oxygen
Each form cast in a controlled-atmosphere kiln to keep the surface clean. Single pour, no joins.
03Hand-finishing
Agate burnish · 9 hours
Surface worked by hand with agate burnishers — gives 999 silver its characteristic warm reflectivity.
04Hallmark
BIS stamped · weight-recorded
Sent to a BIS-licensed assayer for hallmark. Weight slip recorded; certificate paired and signed.
